Air tel
Excessive Bill Amount of Rs 1372.00

Dear Sir,

* I have a post paid connection with Airtel. It is 9910435363.

* I had an advance rental 998 plan (Annual Rent Rs. 998)

* It got expired on 6th Dec., 08

* My usual bills were to the tune of Rs.200-300 per month.

* I didnot opt for renewal. I informed them to wait for my responce.

* Air tel on their own renewed the plan which had very high charges.

* Apart from these they added some of the addon packages on their own.

* My uses and the charges they billed are as under

Dec .08

Air time used = Below Rs 200.00

Bill amount = Rs 944.00

Jan, 09

Air time used = Below Rs 200.00

Bill amount = Rs 828.00

Excess Bill charged: Rs 1372 Approx.

In this regard i contacted Air tel. Instead of making correction they are offering me a meager amount of waiver of Rs.498. I reuqest you to kindly intervene and direct the air tel to mend the bill and not to harrass the consumer.

I copy the email sent and received

Yours sincrely

Gajender Yadav

Dear Madam

I feel you didnot get me. What I want is reversal of excessive charges of

Rs.1372. (as you charged in excess)

As requested earlier I reiterate that after expiry of adavance

rental a plan is arbitrarily given by you which was not to the tune of our

requirement. What I say again and again is that you charge for my airtime

uses

and? not the way you have done. Don, t force the customer? to approach to

the regulatory authority when you can do it. You must appreciate that a

ctomer should be asked to pay for the uses and not for other things. I

value your time you reciprocate the same.

Gajender.
