I have taken Airtel datacard connection initially with unlimited plan (Rs.999/- per month) with my credit limit as Rs.1750/-. For the first month bill I got bill amount as Rs.840/- I paid Rs.440/- then in the next month during my usage suddenly my datacard connection got suspended. I called up Airtel Datacard customer care and enquired and they said "You have exceeded your credit limit by Rs.100/- so we have suspended. When you pay the amount we will reconnect your datacard number". Then I immediately paid my bill and got my connection back. Within one week of that issue I changed my datacard plan to Rs.350/- per month with 1MB of freedownload and additional charge of Rs.5/- per KB download. In the meantime I did not get any intimation of my billing. But after the month end they say that my bill amount has come to Rs.1-. My credit limit is only Rs.1750/- and how can I get such a huge amount as my bill. Even if I have used in excess they should have suspended my connection when my unbilled amount has exceeded the credit limit. They did not do that. I was also not given any intimation so for and only today (09/06/09) I have received a call from Airtel side for my bill payment. I can not pay for their carelessness of not suspending the number when it exceeded the credit limit. this is my issue.
