Airtel cut money from a/c before it activated gprs service. in my case i was using blackberry 8110 and customer support assistant infromed me that blackberry is good for gprs and i activated. i got a message that automatic configuration is not supported. when i call support they said you have to come to our place to do that. it was 150 km. i asked for refund. one support assistant said there is no way we can refund and we will fix your problem in 2 days as there is a ticket. i called another day and support assistant talked to me rudely about refund and said who told you to use blackberry. so funny statement. i called third day and i got my refund. support assistant was nice person.
my point is support assistants are not well skilled and they donot know how to talk to customer. I have very bad impression on airtel and disconnect and use BSNL. there is another issue i triggered that if your support call picked up three times then it wont go through. it will just drop when you enter 9 for customer support.
