Hi,

This is a serious breach of personal banking. I have given Standing Instructions to Airtel to debit my card. As always they have done the impossible.

I had travelled to the US and since my limit is 7000, I exceeded by 600. As a policy Airtel billed me some amount from my unbilled amount and I received a SMS saying that my card will be debited for 8340. I was Ok with it. Even then knowing Airtel I called and verified the entire thing. I spoke to Imran Mujawar (Supervisor) and ascertained all details. I also asked him to confirm that I wont be billed both amounts. He did so.

Despite this I have been billed both both amounts of 8340 and 7601.32. When I called up asking for a reversal as this has now eaten up my limit, Vikas Shaikh and Siddhavi Husseini (both Managers) mentioned that it would take 7 days. Both of them promised me callbacks but no one seems to be least interested.

I would be anyway going to the Media but thought to bring it to your notice as well.

Please assist in taking this forward.
