The number 09717736663 has been discontinued in the month of August after being utilising for 13 months. Before discontinuing of the number I was personally called at Parliament Street Police station by one person projecting from Airtel Ltd. & said that the number would be discontinued due to some legal issues. Further, he stated that a new number would be given in due course of time & details regarding the procedures for new number would be forwarded to me soon. But after pasing the days also no such mail was received & my number was discontinued. Days later I started receiving calls on my another number stating to pay the outstanding dues for continuation of services from the collection department. I emailed by grivences to the customer care mail stating my regular dialoges with the customer care executives. Meanwhile, calls were being made to all the contacts to find me out. Whereas in everymail sent to Airtel my new number was given. And putting me in a very embrassing situation everytime. And today I got a threat call from Mr. Rajesh Choudhary, the collection supervisor-011-40662038 stating to pay the bill or face the consequences.
My request to the consumer forum :
1) I had been through a mental trauma in the whole situation.
2) I had been regularly complaining regarding not getting the hard copy of the bill even though I had opted for.
3) I received the e-bill which I was never able to view & till July all the bills were paid just on the receive of SMS.
4) My final request is kindly settle the matter amicably.
