HOLDING CUSTOMERS TO RANSOM

I AM AN AIRTEL CUSTOMER IN DELHI AND TRAVEL FREQUENTLY.

ITS GOOD, NO DOUBT, BUT.. ONCE I AM OUT ON ROAMING, PPLE CAN'T CONTACT ME..THEY SAY ITS RINGING AND I AM NT ANSWERING, THERE IS NO MISSED CALL RECD / INDICATION ON MY CELL PHONE, (HIGH END)..THEN AFTER A WHILE I RECEIVE A MSG FROM AIRTEL THAT I HAVE MISSED CALLS DURING THE DAY AND SHOULD SUBSCRIBE TO A SEERVICE ON PAYMEN SO THAT I CAN GET TO KNOW WHICH CALLS I MISSED. NOTE THAT, I HAVE KEPT MY CELL "ON" IN FULL STRENGT SIGNAL AND TRIED ASKING FRIENDS TO CALL ..TO CHECK.. IT WAS EMBARASSING THAT A COMPANY OF SUCH REPUTATION SHOULD HAVE SUCH MODUS OPERANDI...

I CAN UNDERSTAND THAT INCASE I AM ON FLT / SWITCHED OFF.. OR SO ON.. BUT NOT WHILE ALL IS WELL.. BASICALLY THE INFRASTRUCTURE HAS NOT KEPT PACE WITH THE SUBSCRIBER BASE / CALL TRAFFIC PATTERN LOADING..
