Phone stolen. Did not unbar new SIM

It is quite unprofessional as well as unacceptable that an organization as large as Airtel can find reasons such as IT support being on leave to keep customers waiting for urgent situations to be sorted. I hurt my arm and hand when my phone got snatched yesterday and have been chasing Airtel to unbar my number for the past 2 days. I live alone and do not have a landline so my parents can only reach me on the mobile phone. However, instead of going to the doctor or taking any rest at all, I have been sitting in the Airtel Relationship Center for hours since 10 yesterday morning till 8 in the night only so that my phone starts working.

Caused serious repercussions such as business calls to be cancelled.
