I have taken new airtel postpaid connection on 16-05-08, as per the agent the sim card was supposed to be activated by very next day but due to server problem it was not done... on 19-05-08 i checked with the airtel customer service and they said that sim has been activated and it is not in my name where as i have taken sim card with my name and paid the security deposit along with necessary documents but i do not understand where the things went wrong!!! and ironically the sim card stills shows in deactivated status in my mobile!!
The agent who was in touch with me till i paid the amount is not traceable for me and he is intentionally not picking the call. Airtel customercare executive took the complaint and said that it would be resolved in 7 working days! How unfair it is for airtel to make such a mistakes from their side and run the business at the cost of consumer!!
I am completely distressed with this since i have taken new sim card with a need and the effort went in vain at others negligence.
Can anybody suggest me, how i could go ahed with this issue? Airtel is paying crores of rupees to ambassadors at the cost of customers and not able to provide basic service to them.
