Hi,
In the last seven years of using the mobile phone, this is the first time I have been using Airtel for the past 1 year and 4 months. The experience is pathetic to say the least, reasons are listed below:
1. Non – Availability of connectivity – I reside at L & T South City, Bannerghatta Road, Bangalore - Reason I believe is that there is a intercom facility provided by Airtel in the society, therefore in order to promote the facility, there might be jammers. Do not know the real reason.
2. Activation of services – Have been requesting the call centre for activation of Airtel live & GPRS, First the call centre guys are not aware as to how the facility works on the cell phone, secondly there are note willing to activate the requested service, till the time a person calls atleast four times.
3. Disconnection of Calls – Calls are disconnected within a minute and one has to dial again, I am sure this will be blamed on my cell phone, which is a brand new Nokia E-71 & have also tried the same on HTC – TYTNII.
4. Non-Availability Network while roaming within Karnataka – Airtel is not available if one travels within Karnataka, and also the other networks available like, Vodaphone cannot be accessed as it gives an error “NO ACCESS”.I basic fundamental rule of being accessible at any place any time is not delivered by AIRTEL.
I am complaining because I am sick of services and wanted to share the frustration and I do not have expectations from the company to resolve the issues.
I really do not know why I am paying for the mobile charges?
Please let me know if there is a possibility of shifting to Vodaphone with the same number and if it not available at present the likely date of getting the same.
