Hi,
I wish to raise a complaint against Airtel GPRS Data Services. I have purchased a GPRS Modem and a connection on Thurday, January 25th from Airtel Customer Services Center in Residency Road Bangalore. At the time of purchase i told the sales eecutive that i am buying it only for data services and not to for voice. I was informed that the Data Services will be activated 24 hours from the time of purchase.
Even till now after 4 days from the date of purchase the Data Services are not been activated. I have also registered a complaint with their call center via complaint number : 20376058, and now they are saying that all the Data Servers are down and they will not be able to activate the services.
I feel i have been cheated, Airtel should have been transparent to the customers at the time of sales and should not give any false commitments. Also, incase they can not provide services they should not have sold me the connection.
I want a full refund of the money paid to them for the Data Card and the security deposit paid for the new connection via bill number : 2154 Dated 22/01 and security deposit receipt number : 1046, Dated 22/01, TouchTone Cellular, Residency Road, opp Nagarjuna Hotel, Bangalore - 560038.
