Late in punching of bill

This is to bring to your notice that i have paid my bill of Rs. 700/- for the month of january against the Reciept no. 15209 dt. 11.02.2008 at SHRI KRISHNA CELLULARS, Prathma Bank Building, Gandhi Nagar, Moradabad, last date for payment of which was on 11''th january, but i have recieved an e-recharge on my mobile confirming me that the bill has been submitted on 12'th january, which means that i have to pay Rs. 50/- as penalty for the same. am i liable for the same??
