My Airtel service has been down for over 4 days, and the comapany maintains the stand that only a small percentage of users are suffering. My thought is probably over 2 million subscribers of airtel are miserable for the last 4 days, and Airtel has not bothered to advise when this nightmare would get over.
I have writted to them several times and the response is always about a temporary glitch which shoulld be resolve shortly. I have been a user of mobile phone for over 10 years and have never expereince anything like this. This is a black day in the wireless journey of this country and not a single media channel (print / tv) is even talking about it.
Guess this is the power of advertising spend!
I wonder what what a company may have to spend in damages in a developed country where the customer is valued and there are regulations to protect them against such wanton apathy from telco companies.
