The TImes of India
Daily Subscription for Times of India

Just want to share the horrible experience I had with The Times of India.

I subscribed for The Times of India and The Sunday Times (Order # 52852 and 54022) in May'07 for an amount of Rs 175 in total) and was supposed to get the copies from Jun'07.

They started giving the copy from Jun'07 but after 2-3 weeks the local vendor came and asked for Rs 50 as service charge(???). I refused and he threatened to not give the copy which he eventually did. I called up the customer care of The Times of India (Phn 040-23325335) and reported the same. They assured they will talk to the vendor and I'll be getting the copy from next day. But the next day also I didn't get the copy.

And not only the next day, it never came although I called them up at least 50 times in the last 6 months. The people I called up were Satish Kumar (9959062832, although it keeps changing) and Mr Sravan (9848887632). Everytime they assured that I'll be getting the copy from the next day.

A few days back to my surprise Satish came up and gave me back Rs 150.

I was amazed at the imcompetence level of The Times.
