Today a traffic havaldar Mr. Gurmeet Singh at traffic lights opposite to Paras Down Town Square, Zirakpur challaned me when i was not doing any wrong driving (Vehicle No CH01AE 1419 - A-Star). A vehicle in front of my vehicle was running very slow, i crossed the road during green lights, due to that vehicle, the lights become yellow & ultimately red and this indisciplined traffic havaldar Mr. Gurmeet Singh instead of watching all that came and stopped me and started shouting and using bad words. I requested him many a times that it is not my fault and he has also seen the same (the vehicle who is doing wrong went safely and he was watching), but his wordings were that now " i have stopped my vehicle and i'll cut a challan of red light crossing, what can u do, you can not prove and don't dare to speak in front of me". He then cut a challan when i was not at fault. In the meanwhile traffic inspector Mr. Daljeet Singh came, i tried to show my grievance to him, but his response was that can i cut 2nd challan now which is very unproffessional way of communicating with public as a public servant. I want to ask punjab traffic police & SP traffic, Mohali that this way your people are behaving with normal public. These people like Mr. Gurmeet Singh (traffic Havaldar) are acting like Mafia. Can anything be done regarding my grievance.
