Delay of Passport

I have applied my Passport in January, till now i have not received my passport even after clearing all formalities including police verification. The status is same since 2 months saying that "Due to unavoidable circumstances we are unable to post your passport. It will be despatched in a weeks time".

Kindly look into the same and do the needful.
