It has been 5 months when I applied for passport in Dec'10 but till so far I have not received my passport. Its very disappointing that when a person applies for passport through normal procedure they have to wait for an indefinite period to get the passport. At the time of applying its said that a person will get the passport in maximum duration of 3 months but after 5 months completion also I still have not received it.
Another thing, when we checked at the time of police verification it was said that once police verification is done you will get the passport within 1 month and verification was done two and half months before.
Request to look into the matter and issue the passport asap. My Passport File Reference number as follows -
