Our flat at the Paramount Floraville has been cancelled due to staff laxity. We were invited by the Paramount staff to make the balance payment in January. However, when we arrived at the Paramount Head Office the next day of the phone call from the Paramount Team, the staff at the HO refused to accept our payment. They also refused to hand over the Paramount group papers required for submission at the bank for release of our home loan. This was well before the deadline for us to make the necessary payment. Despite our repeated requests on the day and repeated visits and numerous phone calls since then no one accepted the payment. It was clear that they wanted us to miss the payment deadline. During our subsequent regular visits (at least two each week all the way from Delhi) that the Paramount Group now wants to resell the flat allotted to me in the market at a much higher rate. I have met Head of the Floraville Project, Head of the Back Office at the Paramount HO, AGM of the company, Chief Financial Officer, Executive Director of the Group. All of these have repeatedly 'sympathised' with the situation and agree that the payment could have been accepted because we had the payment ready and were willing to pay it within the stipulated deadline but no one is willing to reverse their staff's incorrect decision.
