MTNL - AKSH IPTV
WRONG COMMITTMENT DURING NEW BOOKING

Dear Sir/Mam,

I had booked for a new MTNL IPTV connection from AKSH OPTI Fiber Ltd. The installation was carried out on 30th July. I had opted for Rs 249 per month plan. During the booking process, I was given a commitment that for 30 days no fee will be charged and i do not have to recharge my subscription for the next month (Aug). But just after a week, my account was suspended and no services were available on my TV. After making a complaint at AKSH customer care, though the account was activated again and services were restored, but even after a commitment why on the first place were the services withdrawn? Why was it not taken care of. Why was the service department not updated about the features committed to the customer. It was a Sunday when the services were deactivated and due to this I was helpless and could not complaint to anyone on that day. The sale guy has committed and service people were not aware of it and it becomes a problem for the customer.

Even after the services were restored, Every now and then, a network error occurrs and the screen gets blank. The picture quality is very bad (like a DVD hangs in a player). The voice and picture are not synchronized.

Secondly, during my booking process I was also given a commitment that for the 30 days period mentioned as above all movies (even the usually paid ones) will also be free. I can watch every movie without the need of paying any money. However from the very first day itself, this feature was not available to me. When I spoke to the concerned person, every time I called him, he assured me that the same will be taken care and it will be corrected. The same was not done anytime. Finally when i completely annoyed with his false commitment and could not take his words anymore, i called the customer care and lodged a complaint. I wrote a mail to them regarding the same. The next day i received a call from customer care but even then no action was taken. To my surprise they told me that with the 249 Rs plan, no movie can be free. Then why it was committed to me? When i asked the same to the CC representative, they say that they are sorry for that and can not do anything in this regard. This feature will not be available to me. OK fine that is acceptable but why was this information not given to me during the booking. Because i was committed for free movies, i should get it. It is your problem that why your people committed for free movies in this plan.

Till date, the services are not properly restored and whenever I call them or receive a call from them, they say the link problem will be resolved.

My contact number is 9958795438 and you can mail me at [email protected].

Waiting for your reply.

Regards,

Kaushal Shivnani
