TODAY AT 8.00PM - WHILE USING MY IDBI BANK DEBIT CARD IN IOB BANK ATM CENTER INSIDE MAYAJAL AT INJAMBAKKAM - CHENNAI,
AFTER ENTERING THE AMOUNT OF RS. 10000/- TEN THOUSAND, ATM STARTED SHUTTING DOWN AND THE SCREEN BLANKED. AFTER FEW MINUTES, SYSTEM RETRIEVED BUT MY DEBIT CARD GOT BLOCKED INSIDE THE ATM AND THE AMOUNT ALSO NOT RECD.
AFTER FEW MINUTES, I GOT A MESSAGE FROM TM-IDBI BANK - THANKS FOR WITHDRAWING RS. 10000/- .

From 8.00pm I am trying customer care (18002001947) - till 10.30pm customer line is busy.
1) Customer complaint line should be always easy accessible.
Suppose the card is lost (picpocket) on the way - and the customer care line is busy for more than 2 hr. meantime the picpocketer would have used the card for shopping.
HENCE REQUEST IDBI BANK TO HAVE SEPERATE PHONE LINE FOR CARD LOST COMPLAINT AND BLOCK THE CARD USAGE.
