QUERY NOT RESOLVED BY GODREJ
Hi,
I have purchased Godrej Ultra vertibolt lock on 24.12.07and have a 15
year warranty period along with the purchase slip. The knob of the
lock has come out. I have called the Toll free no : 1-800-22 55 1and
have raised a request no: HYD111682 on 20.12.2011 but due to some
technical error at Godrej locks it has been wrongly routed to
bangalore and i have been receiving calls from bangalore. I had
escalated this as the request was to be done at hyderabad. They told
sorry and the same thing continued for a couple of days mentioning
that the person would be coming to do the service and would charge
Rs.90/ and no extra charges. I have agreed to the same. Till date
nobody has turned up to do the needful.
To my surprise when i called on 26.12.2011 they said the request has
been routed to bangalore and its the error at their end and they need
to raise a new request. Its so pathetic inspite of follow up this is
how reputed company like Godrej works. They have given a new request
no: HYD/113383 and till date nobody has truned up . i have been
repeatedly calling and they say they would send the person at the
earliest.
I have spoken to shubangi, supervisor saurav (who mentioned wud give a
call back but did not keep up his word), sumeen. Can anybody explain
what is going around and godrej cant solve the customers request why
do they have to take the request in first place. I am going to
publish this in newspaper with the events following no response.
I would appreciate if any higher authority looks into the same at the
earliest and do the needful.
