THIS IS A COMPLAINT AGAINST THE INDIA TODAY GROUP. MY SUBSCRIPTION NOS. INDIA TODAY: ITE 142728; Business Today 40740 and Money Today 03MONTO1851104

The above mentioned are not being sent regularly; the irregular receipt of magazines has been brought to the notice of customer service department; sometimes, they do send some magazines&-after repeated reminders and requests&-in a bundle, long after their usefulness is lost; sometimes, they just put my request in the dustbin; it is more or less an act of merciful begging; the group does not have any respect for customers like me and does not instruct service executives to look into customer complaints seriously

About 6 months back the India today magazine started the subscription drive promising to deliver a mobile phone as a subscriber's assured gift. The gift was not sent to me. I wrote 10 mails regarding this. No one bothered to help me. Only mails assuring its delivery in about 8-10 weeks were coming. In frustration, i took up the issue with customer service department and one Mr. Piyush told me that the gift was sent long ago and if i have not received it, i need to go and sort it out with postal department. I said i have nothing to do with post and telegraphs department; it is their responsibility to send the gift to customers in a safe manner; if they have failed in their duty, it is their duty to rectify the mistake. Thereafter, they stopped responding to my mails; the customer service executives are giving only evasive replies. So far, as on date, i have not received the assured gift. The whole things seems to have been the product of their fertile imagination. They seem to have instructed the service executives to come out with this kind of standard replies and after some repeated attempts the customers also will forget about everything.

Please bring this to the notice of everyone about the unscrupulous acts and practices of the ggroup&-indulging in this kind of cheap and bizzarre tactics in order to make money&at superfast speed. i will be extremely grateful if you could post the complaint to the consumer forum also
