Touch screen not working properly

The touchscreen of my boss 33 sleek mobile is not responding at all which i purchased from naaptol.com on 16/4/10 {product n.o.-303369}& to adding salt on my wounds the company is demanding a fee of RS1200 for rectifying the problem{ which clearly is a manufacturing defect} while its still under 6 months warranty. They dismiss my claim by saying that this problem has a warranty of just 48 hrs after purchasing which was never mentioned in product description at naaptol.com & also on warranty card .so i hope pertinent action will be taken to assist me in this regard.
