I requested for dsl broadband conection on 13-10. Airtel guys came on 16-10-06 for wiring and messed up with my EPABX, diconnected MTNL line of neighbour and connected my airtel line to his MTNL phone. On complainiong repeatedly that somebody else would be making calls from my airtel number, it took seven days for airtel to finally tell us that its beyond their means and i should rather get it fixed either by mtnl guys or my own epabx guys which i got done eventually on my on 23-10-06. Till date i.e. 31-10-06 nobody has come to instal dsl connection even after requesting them on daily basis. Each day, i get new complaint no, but no action. Is any body accountable for all the complaint nos they generate? and then they promise to resolve each complaint in a day. thats India best telecom company... fooling people. i wish i could change my service provider of all the four lines if there was provision of number portability (and iam sure there will many more people who think likewise). Companies know that and take advantage of thi.s
