DISCREPANCY IN BILL

Respected Sir,

1. I am writing this letter to draw your kind attention towards discrepancy in my mobile bill for the month of March 12.

2. I have taken my Airtel post paid connection No 9906121919 from Airtel store Jammu in Dec. Initially I have started with 99 JK pack on which I was getting 6000 local/STD seconds and 100 local/STD SMS per month and given credit limit of ` 1000/-.

3. I have spoken to Customer Care repetitive on around 5-7 Feb and asked him regarding JK 499 pack providing by the company. The representative told me that there are two JK 499 packs in which I have got 90000 local/STD seconds and 1500 local/STD SMS in first pack and 84000 local/STD seconds, 1000 local/STD SMS and 2 GB data every month in second plan. As I want to use GPRS service I switched to JK 499 (84000) plan.

4. Customer Care representative had not told me that 2GB GPRS service is for one month. Services of this number were suspended on 16 Feb 12 quoting that I have crossed my credit limit. After a marathon discussion with Customer Care in many times, services of this number were resumed on 05 Mar 12. Services of this number were again stopped on 06 Mar 12 quoting the same reason. After a long discussion with Customer Care representative on 08 Mar 12, services of this number were again resumed on 08 Mar 12.

5. On 24 Mar 12 at 12.48 PM I have received an SMS from AD AirtelMO that my GPRS data usage is greater than 424 MB which is a part of your total available free data usage. Subsequently the same massage from same source was received on 28 Mar 12 stating my GPRS data usage is more than 707 MB.

6. Sir, now I wish to draw your kind attention on the following issues :-

(a) Why representative from Customer Care was not informed me that this 2 GB data is for only one month (to check this you can listen the conversation between me and your representative).

(b) Your representative had told me on 06/07 Apr 12 that this was handset burning offer (hsbo) for new mobile set although I have not purchased any new mobile set since 02 years or taking new connection from your company (to check this you can check my EMI number recorded in your record).

(c) If this data plan for one month and I have crossed my credit limit why my services was suspended and informed me whereas it was done earlier (please refer para 4 of this letter).

(d) If I would have informed by your representative that this data plan is available for only one month than definitely I would have switched to JK 499 (90000) plan which was given me more benefit of 6000 local/STD seconds and 500 local/STD SMS.

(e) No one in this universe has so stupid who wish to pay ` 11, 000/- (approximately) for the service which can easily provided by the company in ` 149/- only.

7. I have contacted many times to your Customer Care representative and twice with nodal officer of Jammu and Kashmir, but nobody is interested in solving this problem and all were told me to paid the amount reflected in bill which is more than ` 11, 500/- (this amount is happened due to GPRS usage).

8. Sir, Getting any mobile connection in Jammu and Kashmir is more difficult work comparing with other states due strict rule of J&K government and serving in such a difficult area it not possible for an Army soldier like me to get another connection from other service provider. Due to the suspension my service I am facing difficulty to get in touch with my family and relatives. Such incidents if would have publish in any National News Paper will tarnish the bright image of your company.

9. Keeping in view of the above may I kindly request you to reconcile my problem on humanity ground and generate a fresh bill for the same and sand the same on my email [email protected]. If it is not possible for company to provide free GPRS data ` 149/- may be deducted from my account for this service. My time being temporary number is 9596889979.
