Dear Mr. Raheja,
I used to own a hathway internet connection for a/c:649688.This service was cancelled by me by doing the payment till the month of March'2011.I have paid the bills of the payment at your service center at vartak nagar. I have personally given a cancellation letter along with the modem. Post that i have received calls to enquire the reason of cancellation, which i have informed the reason and told them to cancel the bill. The officers have told me that the connection would be cancelled.
To my surprise, last month i received a hathway bill which i refused to pay. Have received 3-4 collection calls and i told them that my connection has been cancelled.
The collection harasment continues on Sunday's also, hence i told them that they need to update their record and not to give any call.
Today, i have received a sms from hathway to pay my internet bill with the added amt.
I'm going to pay any charges or the service which has been cancelled an all dues has been paid. It was not my fault if the same has not been updated. This is a last request to Hathway for updatign the details.
I'm writing to you as a responsible business man. I will take a legal route and escalate to consumer court for this mental harassment.
Please sort this out and train your people
