I am post paid user of IDEA Cellular since more than 5 years. I recently decided to PORT out (MNP) to another network operator because of very poor network connectivity from IDEA in the area where i reside. IDEA has rejecting the MNP request which the other network is forwarding in the system at least two times in last one month. The message that i receive says "donor rejected request because port code does not match...". Checked with IDEA customer care, they admitted that there was no mismatch of PORT code as the UPC was correct, still the request was rejected by IDEA twice. Probably because of the fact that they want to frustrate the customers who have decided to leave them to avail better services.
