I am a user of IDEA Cellular's post paid services in Maharashtra and Goa circle since more than 5 years.
Due to poor network coverage and no actions on complaints regarding the same, I decided to PORT out of IDEA using the portability facility.
The new network operator tried submitting my application/request at least 2 times in last one month (with two different valid UPC) but it got rejected by IDEA cellular both the times and the reason given is - "... donor rejected the request due to The port code doesn't match..." I checked with the other operator as well as with IDEA customer care and found out that the UPC/PORT code was correct in the application and IDEA representatives asked me to get it re-submitted as there would have been some problem with there system. It happened again, IDEA rejected it second time because of the same reason. And IDEA people asked me to get it re-submit the third time. This process is going on since more than a month now and I am still stuck with IDEA.
This clearly shows that IDEA is more interested in harassing the customer who opted to PORT out of them because of poor network and service quality, rather than improving themselves and retaining customers.
Compliant id: 146202398 (closed by IDEA, I have just received a call from there technical dept and they assured something will be done soon, but what they did was - Closed the complaint). No action taken.

Requesting IDEA Cellular to stop rejecting PORT out requests and accept that customers want to move out of them because of the poor service provided by them.
