I have an Idea Cellular mobile connection. It is a mobile connection with an internet facility compatible for my android phone. My mobile number is 9011061876. On Friday, 3rd June, suddenly the connectivity dropped. I am a legal professional and I have chosen a plan which allows me to access the internet and use the connection to make calls. There was zero connectivity and I was unable to access the internet nor was I able to make calls from my phone. I called 12345 which is their consumer helpline and chose an option to speak in English. Though we choose this option, their executives always speak in Hindi. Why have an option to speak in English when the executives are not trained to speak english.

I told the executive who answered my call on 3rd June, at 6:30 p.m. that I had no connectivity. I was shocked when he gave a very cold response that the connectivity would be restored by 6th June, as there was some technical difficulties. All idea users in my complex did not have connectivity and the executive tells me that it would take three days to restore the connectivity. I tried to explain to him that I am a legal professional and it is absolutely necessary for me to have access to internet and make calls. He replied that he was helpless. I asked to talk to his senior and he made me wait for 10 mins only to return and tell me that his seniors were busy. This is a paid call and I have to pay for their issues. The next day in the evening, an executive called me and told me that the problem has been resolved. I checked and told him that I yet did not have connectivity and was shocked when he told me that it was mentioned against my number that I did not have connectivity in Baner. I had never mentioned Baner to the executivs I spoke with earlier. I live in Wanowrie, Pune and I had clearly mentioned that to the executive. So apparently they had not even worked on my complaint until the evening of Saturday i.e. 4th June. Having no connectivity is a serious issue, which the mobile provider ought to understand.

It is sad to see such pathetic service by Idea Cellular. The denial of access to internet and calling facility has caused me tremendous amount of monetary losses, apart from the mental trauma and inconvenience.
