Could not activate a number in 7 days

I have got a duplicate SIM (number:- 9883734597) on 13th may after losing my cell. I got the sim from Reliance Web World Gariahat center, Kolkata. The retailer assured me that the sim would be activated within 24 hours but it didn't happen so. After the frustrating weekend without any connection I logged a complain with the Reliance Customer care, kolkata. The customer care executive again assured me that within 48 hours the issue would be resolved but alas the issue didn't get resolved. Everyday I make at-least couple of calls to make sure that the issues gets resolved at the earliest.

Now its 7th day without the connection and I am not only losing contact but also losing my vital business and might also lose some of my clients. Its really frustrating and the worst service received from any service provider. This incident is not only make me loose faith from RIL but also from the complete Reliance Group. I also posses Reliance net connection and I might plan to change even that after experiencing such a bitter experience from reliance telecom.

I hope you can understand my situation and do the needful for the benefit of the customer.
