I've received a unsolicited call from no. 994400160126 at 9.48 p.m. on 25.12.11 from a person named Sameer claiming that he's calling from Mobile Database co. He told me that my mobile phone was not registered and was asking for the IPIN no. of my mobile and my personal details. when i started questioning him, he stated that the Govt. of India (Telecom Dept.) has authorised his Co. to collect these details. When i told him that i'm going to lodge a complaint, he requested me not to and abruptly disconnected the call.
I request the concerned authorities to investigate this matter since i feel that such phony Cos. must be cheating innocent Public by collecting their personal details.
