mobile was on charge on the coffee table of Room no201 at Park hotel, Kolkata on 23rd night. My kids were sleeping in the room. One person came and my daughter wok up noticed him to take something and gone away. She was scared and thank god, she did not scream. We came at 209 am on 24th from TANTRA. Found phone missing. Complained to reception and made a diary at Park st Police stn. Later I saw the cctv footage and see the person coming to our room but the camera did not cover the entrance of last 2 rooms. However the person reappeared with something in hand. He tried to enter some other rooms too before being intercepted by the guard. But his identity was not tried to establish by the hotel, repeated communication resulted in no solid response except complimentary stay which I refused. I want to lodge complaint online as I stay away from Kolkata and I was attending a national conference. My question why after 6 weeks identity of the fugitive was not established. Is he a terrorist taking shelter in 5 star hotels? After paying so much tarriff what security and courtesy they offer? anything could happen, my kids were in the room
