Refund of Advance Rental

On May I paid Advance rental of Rs. 5604/- towards Aircel India Ltd for the Post-pay connection.

2 months back I got a call from Aircel informing that they are closing the service in Kerala and the rest month’s amount would be refunded back to me. I accepted their offer and asked to forward the closing request. Also they informed the cheque would be mailed to my residential address.

Till date I have not received the cheque. None of the Aircel officers are taking responsibility to get my money back.

When contacted the Customer care they ask to walk-in to different Outlets in Ernakulam. Travelling all the outlets in city, I discovered that all the outlets are closed and none were in operation from past few months. When informed the customer care that all outlets are closed they don’t accept the fact. Strange to know that Aircel doesn’t know which outlet is functioning.

Spoke to the escalation desk-claims to be Asst. Manager in Aircel Customer care: Anand. He promises a ton but never gets back. These days when I call customer care they give me statement as: He is on break, He is on leave, and He is in meeting. Never ever he calls back.

Please help me out in getting my money.
