I have been using an airtel prepaid number (9963757675) since 5 years. In between for 3 months i stopped using it as i had to go to another state for pursuing my Post Graduation. On 11th Dec i started using the same number, after working properly for 4 days, it stopped working since 16th. As i did not receive any prior intimation or message from air-tel regarding my number deregistration, i used it for my bank accounts and PAN card which i opened in past 2 weeks. Now airtel people are not giving proper response for my query and I'm being told that i will not get my number back even if I'm willing to use it regularly and pay new activation charges.

As per their rules, they have the right to block my Sim for not using it for 3 months, but why was i provided service for 4 days and even my recharge was accepted during that period. During that period, as i was not informed about the deregistration, i used the same number for my personal accounts from where i may get security code or important data.
