MNP Porting rejected without valid reason

I have a Airtel prepaid connection 9945531142. I initiated MNP port request on 28th Jan and applied for a BSNL connection wit the unique porting id on 29th Jan.

Today (3rd Feb) I got a rejection SMS saying Airtel rejected the porting request due to legal reasons.

When I contacted Airtel customer care, they informed me that it was a mistake, and I should repeat the process of getting a Unique porting ID, and apply for fresh connection with BSNL again.

This is not acceptable as the rejection was without any valid reason, and the customer should not have to spend additional time and energy due to this mistake.

Please address this issue at the earliest by accepting the original porting request, so that I can move on.
