This is my second complaint against the Airtel regarding my mobile connection for the number #96328964000 in Bangalore.
I relocated to Gurgaon on 30th Dec. Therefore, I raised request for the relocation of the number #9632894000. Airtel promised me to provide the new connection with the relocated number within a week.
Along with relocation, I got calls from Airtel 2 times that my roaming charges will be waived off 13th Jan onwards.
Well, nothing happened like the above promised. Here is what I got:
1. My number was deactivated for the 1.5 days without any prior information. It took me whole day to figure out that problem is in the connection, NOT in the Cell Phone.
2. These guys didn’t deliver any relocated number to me. Eventually, I took new connection with my own effort.
Now here is what they included in the bill for my Bangalore (#9632894000):
1. I placed request for de-activation of the number on 22/23rd Jan and Bill was generated for the period 2nd Jan to 2d Feb?
2. Roaming charges have been included in the bill for incoming call on 13th Dec onwards despite of confirmation from the Airtel.
When I communicated with these people, here is what I am getting in the response:
1. I am querying for my previous mobile number (#9632894000) and these irresponsible guys are replying me for my current number (#9910010817)!!!
2. There are claiming that I am telling a lie and Airtel has made no promises on roaming charges.
Could you please look into this? I am really frustrated with the way Airtel is operating.
I have attached all communication to and from Airtel. You can observe the irresponsibility in the response.
