I had taken the above prepaid sim card in Nerul
from Pratibha Communication Centre on 8th June.
Next day I got Blackberry also activated on the same
number. I left for Singapore on 14th June. After
reaching there network was there but EDGE did not work.
I returned to Mumbai on 20th june. After reaching here
again blackberry services started. I left for Coimbatore
on 24th June. Till I was in Mumbai I had EDGE
and network both. As soon as I reached Coimbatore there
was no network. I contacted Airtel office there and was informed
by them that it was Roaming issue. They had sent msg to Mumbai
to resolve the problem but nothing worked. Again when I returned
back to Mumbai on 1st July my number was ok and I could access my
Blackberry and calls also. I have recharged the number 2-3 times
after the purchase. But to my surprise and shock suddenly my number was totally dead. When called customer care I was told the number is not registered in my name and it can not be activated.
For last 15-20 days due to this I have gone through so much of
mental torture and purpose of activating Blackberry also was waste. I had visited the Vashi Navi Mumbai gallery but I had a very bad experience there also. There I was told that same number can be given to me if I go for postpaid connection. It looked like as I was being forced to take a postpaid connection.
Again after contacting appellate officer I was told to go to Airtel Vashi gallery
and submit the documents, I went there on 26th of July and gave the documents. I was asked to pay Rs 25 and got a new sim card. I was told it would be activated with in 48 hours. Today is 31st July and till date nothing has been done.
The customer care also don't respond properly and disconnect the line if we question them more.
