NEW SIM FOR LOSS OF SIM

I am Sivaraman Airtel No:9790000890. I have been using this for the past 21/2 years as postpaid. Before a year i changed it to Prepaid.

On 01.01.2011 i lost my mobile and i went to airtel show room to get a new sim for the same number. But they said my details [Name and Address] were not updated.

They asked me to go to the Hosur [60 kms from Krishnagiri] and to submit the ID Proof and Photo and to wait for 7-Days to get update of my details and then they will be providing a New sim. But till now they was no process in this. I have went to Hosur more than three times.

Airtel customer service is getting worse than ever. I need a new sim.
