Since I'm using 9810118239. It was a prepaid connection. In 2008 an offer came to get lifetime validity paying Rs. 1000, which I did. Somehow I wasn't using the same number for last 2 months, though SIM was with me. Now on 26th May when I checked, number has been allotted to someone else. Now can I get an explanation on this. I mean how can a number with lifetime validity been allotted to someone else without getting an prior approval from me.
Now, amazing part is Airtel Customer Service, N00bs sitting over there don't know anything about customer Service - they are rude and asked me to contact nearby service center.
I NEED MY NUMBER BACK.
