Validity of SIM

I have taken an Airtel SIM having the No.9178321833. I have been using the SIM more than a year. The validity period expired on 15.10.2011. While I made attempt to revalidate the SIM with charging fees of Rs.47/- through local dealers it is not being activated. Dealers enquiry to Customer Service and my enquiry through 198 has not evoked any response. The customer care office seems to be headed by irresponsible persons.
