I had requested for porting out my number from Airtel to BSNL 3 times in the past, and unsuccessfully. The request would be taken in and closed without processing. Last time I paid my fees to BSNL along ith application form and porting number and received the SIM Card. However, despite several requests on phone to customer services, the number is still not getting ported out. I have been a high value mobile user and I suspect that is the reason. I don't get the signal at home thru Airtel and there is an urgency to the porting as it affects my work. Pl help!
