Sim card activation

Ecently lost my mobile and so i bought a new Sim card from one of your Airtel offices by paying 25 rupees.

While i am writing this e mail it has already been 4 days and my SIM card has still not been activated. I have already received all kind of possible excuses from the customer service department and i still haven't got a solution. (Not even something that sounds close to a solution) and to mention that this has been one of the sickest customer service experiences i have ever had.

Solutions given by your customer service department,

1) System updation - a susal answer given by the agents if they dont have a solution to the problem.

2) Buy a new sim - solution given by a so called supervisor.

3) Activation pending and require 24 hours to get it activated - repetitive answer given by CSR's at the end of every call and it has already been more than 90 hours... (by this time my card could have been activated more than 3 times...)

4) Card has been activated - while the card has still not been activated.

5) Card shows pending activation - i got this reply after i have received the previous answer at no:4...

I have also worked as a CSR but i have never come across such lethargic, horrible, irresponsible, unsupportive

For god's sake if a human is going to read this email please help me get my SIM card activated as i do not have any other option and that is the advantage you people will take from a helpless customer like me!
