Airtel postpaid services
Efund of deposit

Hello Everyone:

I paid a deposit for international roaming in Feb. 2009 for my parents who were travelling abroad. Amount Rs. 4500. After they returned, asked for a refund of the amount. Nothing up until now.

Have been complaining about poor connectivity at my residence. Not been resolved since ages. I get a SMS that the matter has been resolved. I should be the one to make this statement. But, the irony is that they send it.

I had to go abroad during the last week ofFfeb. 2010. Paid a refundable deposit of Rs. 4500. The services were not activated. Came back and sent a complaint. They are still investigating. When the matter will be sorted out is anybody's guess.

Last month a I sent several sms's to my friends in Mysore and Bangalore. I was charged rs. 5 per sms. Somehow the number had got prefixed with 0044 (UK code) and they claim that it was a international sms. Now, being a so called mobile services company they do not seem to understand that you cannot send a international sms by prefixing 0044 to a local mobile number.

The list goes on.

I am just waiting for mobile number portability to be introduced. I am sure many many others are also waiting for this.
