Refused to return deposit amount of INR 20, 000 after package cancellation

Hi,

I booked a honeymoon package for Mauritius and pain an amount of Rs, 20, 000 as initial deposit. I requested for a flight booking confirmation from makemytrip travel agent. But agent didn't provide me same and sent me a simple plain e-mail saying your Itinerary is confirmed (without any flight and hotel confirmation). Also, he asked me to send consent forms for confirming my flight as well as hotel. 3 Days later, I have to cancel my trip and now agent says that my tickets and hotel was confirmed and he is refusing my any refund. I haven't sent any consent form.

Please help me in this matter.
