I had applied for a new DTH connection to Dish TV on 12Jan10 paying Rs 1590/- online through their website. I promptly received a mail from dish tv cutomer care (CC) that my payment has been received and would receive the connection within 24 hours.
I have been continuously following up with Dish TV CC centre (PH: 08060013474) from 13Jan10 till today (17Jan10) - have made more than 12 calls till date. I only received a revert from them that within 2 hrs our sales executive would call and address your concern. On 16Jan10, when I got fed up with the false commitments made by them, I asked them to pls cancel my order and refund my money, instead of offering any resolution, they kept on saying within half an hour our person would call and resolve the issue.
But till date no calls have come from their side to show any sort of interest to give me a connection or resolve my problem, whereas they proclaim to provide connection within 24 hours of booking the order. Today (17Jan10), when after repeated requests, the call was handed over to the call centre supervisor, I asked to kindly cancel my order since I was not comfortable with their service. She informs me that it is not possible to cancel the order whereas nothing is mentioned on their website where I booked my order that order cannot be cancelled.
We also sent a mail to their customer care yesterday asking them to cancel the order and refund the money/ we got a reply from their side that our concern will be addressed within 24 hours. Its more than 24 hours now but still no reponse via mail or calls has been recd from the company.
I would be highly obliged if you could be pls take the matter up and help me get my money back and added compensation for following up with them and harassment caused by the company.
