My name is Sparsh.
i took airtel connection as i was pretty satisfied with my current airtel mobile engagement with airtel.
I decided to take a new airtel DTH connection on Sunday. When i first rang ur customer care for information, there was a lady Preethi who explained me all the stuff pretty nicely and rang me up 5 times in next 15 mins to take the connection. I paid through IVR system and took the highest package available.
So now let me tell you my customer id, it is 3005040754.
I was told by Preethi that the installation will be done in 48 hrs.
I receive a msg on the 40 hr that my account has been credited with the amount and this is customer id.
I then get a msg that my installation is scheduled at 4pm and that a service engineer would contact me.
I leave my work and come back home to wait for the technician. Nobody gave me a call and i called the customer care executive, the answer that i was given was wait for 1 more hr and that i would get a call back.
i didn't get any and kept on calling the customer care with the same blunt answer.neither was i given any contact number, nor did i receive any call back.after 7 calls i was said that service engineer missed the appointment... why? if that was the case could i not get any intimation call before or could this not be conveyed during the calls that i made to customer care.
I then received a complaint number on my mobile and was given a number to contact. The guy on that number never picks up any call. The complaint number is 3646521.The complaint got resolved automatically, i dont know why?
I was told by the customer care that it will be installed at my place before 8 pm and that somebody would call me.
I did receive a call and the guy said that he would be coming to my place in the evening and that it would be installed.
nobody called and nobody turned up.
next day i get call saying it will be done in evening, again nobody called or turned up.
repeatedly customer care said that the service engineer has missed the appointment.
Then i talked to customer care and asked them to forward my call to somebody higher and then i got a call back from Mr sarvannan yesterday. When i asked him the status he said that u can have my word i already had a chat with the service engineer and he would be at your place to install that and that there is no need to escalate this.
Also please bear in mind that i had already put a mail to the nodal office who till now has not even bothered to call me or reply back to my mail.
Today morning i again received a call saying that it will be done by evening from some technician.
I came back home early waiting for that technician but nobody bothered to call nor did anybody come.
I then called up the customer care and asked for mr.sarvannan, he didn't respond and somebody else responded saying that the technician might have missed the appointment and please give us 1 more chance we will do it tomorrow.
i am really out of my mind now.
6 days have passed and this is the status.
Awaiting response.
