Today 19.03.2011 in the morning when i opened tv there were no signal from Airtel digital tv.

I comlained to customer care (mr. arihan jain) at Airtel digital and he asked me to restart tv after switching off and removing the plugs from main i did so but no response and the screen showed that no signal being provided by the service provider. Mr. jain immediately said that complaint is being forwarded to service centre and engineer will charge Rs.100/- . This was told before mr. jain could check at his end about the relay of signals or recharge or any other thing at their end. Mr. Jain put forward my complaint to another his colleague stating that she was supervisor, but she repeated the same story. they were asked to give me the number of higher up in this regard but they did not respond.

Please see that I am the sufferer since I am not able to utilize the service since morning and not sure when this will be set right and also have to pay Rs, 100/- which is unjustified and uncalled for.

Through this column i would bring to the kind notice of management to look into this problem of customers.
