I have had purchased SONY LED KLV-40EX520 from CROMA on 15th Mar I have recd Airtel HD DTH. After registering with Airtel and receiving Airtel Customer
ID and I recharged my account with INR 1000 on 24 Mar. Same day I requested your customer care executive over phone for the installation, the date and
time slot I got from executive was 25th Mar from 9:00 am to 10:00am. but the service Technician did not turned up in the promised time slot when I made
myself available by taking short leave from my office. He came after 2 hrs at around 12:30pm when I was not at home and was attended by my wife for the DTH
installation but due to some cable routing issue he did not install the connection and went back. after coming back from office I again contacted Airtel DTH
customer care center and requested new time which I recd for 26th Mar between 10:00am to 11:00am. Unfortunately no body visited during this time too. Thereafter
I followed many times with your customer care executives but..It was told to me that my complaint no. 6319676 is registered and it will be resolved latest by
4:30pm on 27 Mar. But to my biggest surprise I recd a SMS on 27 Mar at 2:18pm mentioning my request has been resolved whereas I was still pending.
Immediately I spoke to Airtel customer care and told about this and It was assured to me that I should wait till 4:30pm and it will be resolved. BUT IT IS NOT
RESOLVED. Finally on 27th evening I contacted one local dealer SOMU CELL ZONE, OPP. SHIV MANDIR, NEAR Police Chowky, Pataudi Road, GURGAON. This dealer by name
ANIL has also spoken to AIRTEL about my problem but with no success. Finally I purchased new TATA SKY connection from him by paying INR 5810.
Next day I recd a call from AIRTEL asking me to get DTH installed and I requested them that now as I have purchased new TATA SKY so they should compensate
me for same as well as all the harassment I have gone thro otherwise I am ready to take a legal action for my consumer rights... but...
I did not loose my hope and again contacted AIRTEL customer service on 09th Apr and tried to resolved this without going legal way and got the contact
number of Mr. Rohit raj (cell no. 8800327110). I also reported whole case to him but with no success.
Please let me know how to deal with them in such case.
