I changed my address around 15-20days ago,
requested for de-installation and re-installation of the digital TV STB.
De-installation was done immediately, the very next day I called.
But I've really been struggling to get the installation done!!!
It's been more than 9 days since when I've been calling the customer care number daily.
All they do is promise that "it'll be done immediately, today itself our engineer will call you",
but I didn't get any calls.
An engineer called once and was very rude on the phone and told that he doesn't serve this area.
I called up customer care again and they told that the engineer didn't respond because my number was not reachable.
(Might be possible - accepted).
I then provided an alternate mobile no. and provided a landline no. too so that the engineer won't make this excuse.
Still, I didn't get any call.
I called up the cust. care again, and one of their senior officials promised that the work done by 12pm that day,
and guess what, I waited till 12.30, went late for office just waiting for a call.
The same story has been repeating time and again every day!!!
Am really fed up the quality of service of Airtel TV!
This is the first time I'm having such a horrible experience with a private organisation!
I just recharged my account because the Airtel people told that it is mandatory for the shifting process,
and it's a waste now as it's pending since 10 days.
