NON RECEIPT OF BARODA HOME LOAN SURAKSHA BIMA POLICY

I was sanctioned two Home Loans by Bank of Baroda as per following details:-

1) A/C no. 1705 0600 000385 for Rs 34, 9- : sanctioned vide letter No. BOB/ADV/15428 dated 09/08. A final disbursement of was made on 28/08/08 by Chief Manager of Manish Market, 4 Bunglow, Andheri (West) branch.

2) A/C no. 1705 0600 000404 for Rs 859, 285/- : sanctioned vide letter No. BOB/ADV/15431 dated 30/08. A final disbursement of was made on 05/12/08 by Chief Manager of Manish Market, 4 Bunglow, Andheri (West) branch.

As per para 12 of the loan sanction letters, the Bank under Baroda Home Loan Suraksha Bima Policy was supposed to arrange insurance of the Property & Personal Accident Insurance to Main Borrower at Bank’s cost upto the sanctioned loan amount.

Although the home loans were disbursed more than a year back, I have not received the said Insurance Policies from Bank till date. A number of verbal reminders to the Cheif Manager of concerned branch and a written reminder served in Jun 09 to draw his attention to the subject has yeilded no result till date. It is requested that matter may be taken up with appropriate authority and the Bank may be asked to honor the commitment made to a customer in Terms & Conditions of the Home Loan.
