I have purchased a 15Litres Water Heater from Jayam & Co, Anna Nagar, Chennai on 21/02 vide their Bill No. Annr9560. The Model is SWH515 and the S.No is GL7-203694.
Due to summer, the water heater is being sparingly used but to our surprise, we have noticed water leakage from the tank within 3months of usage. Their service personnel has replaced it but after that we could not use it due to thermostat, thermal cut-out and other problems.
I have selected Crompton Greaves for their reputation and brand name as many years i am using fans. without any problem. But the water heater is totally a worthless piece which i didnt expect from Crompton Greaves. I am surprised to note that how the tank made up of non corrosive metal sheet has failed so fast? The other parts are also of very inferior quality.
I am sure that it will be a nightmare with this products in the coming days.
